"e+e- Physics with Herwig++"

The Monte Carlo event generator Herwig++ 1.0 for e+e- Annihilation is
presented.  Herwig++ is a complete rewrite of the existing Fortran
program HERWIG.  I will explain the underlying formalism of the new
parton shower and the improvements that have been made in comparison
to HERWIG.  We have tested the program against a wide range of LEP
data.  I present these results and give an overview over planned
future developments.
